8-Week Beginner Pilates Course

Build a strong foundation — from the mat to the reformer

Ready to begin your Pilates journey but not sure where to start? This 8-week course is designed specifically for beginners who want to learn the fundamentals in a supportive, small-group environment.

You’ll start with 4 weeks of Mat Pilates, where you’ll:

  • Learn how to properly activate your core, glutes, and stabilisers

  • Understand key Pilates terminology and movement patterns

  • Discover how to switch off overused muscles (like the neck and shoulders)

  • Build body awareness and confidence

Then progress to 4 weeks on the Reformer, where you’ll:

  • Explore resistance-based movement

  • Apply your mat skills to the machine

  • Continue building strength, flexibility, and coordination

This course is perfect for those looking to improve posture, prevent injury, and manage pain through mindful movement.

Breathwork + Spinal Energetics workshop

Spinal Energetics is a holistic healing modality that combines elements of Eastern energy medicine and Western somatic practices to support physical, emotional, and energetic alignment through the spine. It works with the body’s natural intelligence, using gentle touch or non-touch techniques to activate stored energy and promote self-regulation. As the practitioner guides energy along the spine, clients often experience spontaneous movements, emotional releases, or shifts in awareness - allowing the body to unwind tension and restore balance. It’s particularly valued for its ability to release trauma, support nervous system healing, and reconnect individuals to their innate vitality.

This workshop will be run by guest facilitator Dr. Brendan Rose - Intuitive Osteopath, Spinal Energetics/Reiki Master, & Breathwork facilitator.

**This workshop is not recommended for people with the following:**

  • Severe Asthma

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Recent fractures or infection

  • Psycosis or unstable mental health including severe PTSD

  • Any history of seizures

  • Heart issues of any kind

  • Recent surgeries

Yin & Sound workshop (90 minutes)

A slow-paced and gentler style of yoga with longer holds and juicy stretches intended to increase joint mobility, hydrate fascial networks and strengthen & lengthen connective tissues. The practice is mostly floor-based with use of supportive props such as bolsters, blankets and blocks.

It’s also highly meditative and introspective, offering plenty of time and space for you to draw your awareness inside. Yin is a straightforward practice with fewer postures and simple sequencing, but it can have far-reaching effects on both your body and your mind. Ideal for beginners, those recovering from injury, or seekers of more meditative body-mind practices.

Looking for a fun and active way to spend time with your child during the school holidays? Join us for a playful and energising 1-hour floor acrobatics workshop designed especially for parents and kids to enjoy together!

This all-levels session is perfect for beginners — no experience required. You’ll learn foundational acro skills like cartwheels, splits, rolls, tumbles, and balances in a safe, supportive environment. No flips involved — just loads of fun, movement, and bonding time. Just enough so your Mini-Me can work off some energy & remember as a highlight of their holidays!

Whether you're discovering acrobatics for the first time or just want to stretch and play together, this workshop is a fantastic way to move, laugh, and connect with your mini.

What to Expect:

  • Guided partner exercises for kids and grown-ups

  • Stretching, strength, and balance work

  • Cartwheel and split technique (made fun!)

Yin & Sound Healing Workshop

Sunday, April 13th4:00 – 5:30 PM | $50 ($45 Mindful Members)

A 90-minute workshop combining Yin yoga with the healing power of sound guided by Deb & talented sound practitioner, Janneke.

Deb & Janneke have a deep love for Yin and with their aligned values of inclusivity, accessibility and connection, will use yoga & sound to soothe your nervous system - bringing your mind and body back to a restful state.

Giving you space to move intuitively in your Yin practice, we'll stretch tendons, fascia and joints before settling in for a sound bath which will awaken, heal & renew.

Time to breathe & simply BE 💜

What to Expect:

Yin Yoga – Longer holds using bolsters and blocks to support stretching of joints, tendons & fascia - think connective tissues around your muscles
Meditation & Breathwork– Using breath, ground yourself into your body to bring your mind into the present moment
Sound Bath – Allow the power of crystal singing bowls, voice, chimes, and other instruments wash over you to encourage release and relaxation

About Your Facilitator:

Janneke is a classically trained singer and sound mediation facilitator. Expect to receive soothing vibrations of an array of instruments including singing bowls, tongue drums, chimes and ethereal vocals.

She’s a firm believer that singing is a powerful form of self-expression and can be healing. If done in a non-judgmental and relaxed manner, it releases stress, boosts our mood, and helps us connect with our true selves 🙏
