The Importance of Breath ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ

Breath is the most accessible tool we have for regulating the nervous system.. yet we often forget when life feels busy.

When breath is shallow or restricted, your body stays in a state of high alert (tense muscles, digestion slowed, poor tissue repair and inability to switch off). When breath is deep and full, the body receives messages that itโ€™s safe to soften and release tension.

In classes, weโ€™ll also continue to:

โœ”๏ธ Breathe into the back body and expand the ribs
โœ”๏ธ Match movement with breath
โœ”๏ธ Use breath to calm body and mind

You donโ€™t need to change the way you breathe. Simply give it some space, time and attention.. and you'll start to notice the difference.
